Frequently Asked Question

We now have an FAQ list that we hope will help you answer some of the more common ones.

1. What currency can we use?

We only accept Australian currency.

2. If we book a charter can we have alcohol whilst the transportation?

If you request our party bus than drinking on the bus is acceptable under the circumstance that no damage is caused on board and there is no irrelevant behavior during the transport. Any threats to safety, being physical or verbally aggressive, or any inappropriate behavior during the transportation the driver may request that the offending person to exit the vehicle or instantly terminate the service without providing a refund.

3. Are we allowed to bring food or any beverage on the buses?

Any of our vehicles does not permit Smoking, Food or any Beverages except water.( Only In Party Buses Can Drink )

4. If I mistakenly leave my property on the bus will it be returned?

Property left in our vehicles will be kept for a maximum of 3 months. Should the owner request their property to be forwarded on, any direct expense will be charged to the owner of the property, plus a minimum of $100.00 packing & handling fee.

5. What happens if I have lost or encountered damage on my items?

Sydney Party Shuttles will not be liable for any loss or damage, to any goods, baggage and personal items conveyed by our service.

6. If we are running late is there an extra charge?

If you are running late, latitude of 15 minutes may be acceptable. However anything over that time frame an additional $100 to $200 per hour surcharge will apply to any waiting times after the first hour of your scheduled booking, unless prior arrangement has been made with management.

7. What is the limit on Luggage And are we able to place on board Surf?

A limit of 1 large suitcase (bag), 1 small suitcase (bag) and 1 piece of hand luggage per passenger applies. Additional luggage will be charged as an extra $10.00 per item (this does not apply for any Group transfers, but regardless surf or snowboards will be charged at $16.00 each.

8. Can we include additional stops once the driver has picked us up?

Sydney Party Shuttle bus reserves the right to refuse to set-down or pick-up at any locations other than those nominated by the original booking.

9. How much time do we need to get to the airport before our flight departs?

For any airport drop offs you need to arrive at the Airport at least 1 hour before your departure time for any domestic flights and 3 hours for International flights. PLEASE NOTE: If any flights are overdue or cancelled and any delays that may occur due to traffic or weather conditions, Sydney Party Shuttles will not be liable for any loss, cost or delay incurred due to any circumstances beyond our control.

10. On booking day will the driver let us know before he gets into the area?

Your allocated driver will call 10-15 minutes prior to the pick up time to make sure that you and the other guests are ready.

11. Are there child restraints on any of the buses?

At the time of your booking unfortunately we do not provide any child seats, capsules or booster seats. On the contrary you are more than welcome to use your own, which will be charged as an extra seat, but we will not be responsible for returning the item.

12. If we pay by Credit Card is there a surcharge?

On the day of your transportation if you acquire in using our eftpos machine placed on our buses, then there will be a 6% surcharge or if you make a payment via our online booking system than a 3% surcharge will be added the additional cost.

13. Why do we have to give bond before the booking?

For certain bookings, management may ask for a bond, which will be given back with in 24 Hours after the trip with Proving your bank details. This is hence for the reason that if any significant damage has been caused on the bus whilst traveling, then the bond will be used to cover the costs. However, if you refuse to provide us with a bond and damage has been sustained, than an invoice will be sent to you for the cost of repairs.

14. Why do we have to provide a deposit?

Once you have provided us with your details, in order to confirm and secure your booking, management will acquire a deposit. Deposits are non refundable unless prior agreement is arranged with management.

15. What kind(s) of entertainment is available on the bus?

Our Party Bus 13, 14,20, 21, 24 or 42 seat Party Buses, which are all equipped with flashing party disco LED lights (inside and out), an explosive sound system to listen to your favorite CD, MP3, USB, iPhone and iPod music (AUX cable is also provided).
Or why not go all out and request our new addition Party Bus that seats up to 42 people and 19 standing, which is decked out with:
• LED and Laser Lights,
• Smoke Machine,
• Stripper Pole,
• 32 inch T.V with built in DVD,
• Karaoke Machine,
• Extremely loud Sound System to listen to your favorite CD, MP3, USB, Bluetooth Connectivity, iPhone and iPod music (AUX cable is provided) and,
• Video Surveillance Cameras throughout the bus to ensure the safety of all passengers (Footage can be requested).

16. Is there air conditioning available in the shuttle bus? And are there any safety precautions put in place?

Our shuttle buses are complete with seat belts that are fitted for your safety as well as air-conditioning and tinted windows, which are provided for your comfort.

17. Are the buses clean and are the drivers professionals

Our fully equipped, modern, clean and well-maintained buses and along with our friendly and experienced drivers, we will make sure that you and your group arrive to your desired destination in style and most importantly safely and hassle free.

18. What locations do you pick up and drop off?

Shuttle Charters Sydney is based Sydney & Melbourne Wide, but we can also accommodate for interstate transfers, ranging from Wollongong, Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Nowra, Newcastle etc.

19. What is the limit of passengers on the buses?

We have shuttle buses that are able to charter for 13,14,20,21, 24,32,42,and 62 passengers

20. Can you make price adjustments (negotiate a price)?

Yes, we are able to negotiate a price but we can definitely guarantee you that our shuttle services are very affordable and will meet your means.

21. Can I cancel my booking? And will my money be refunded?

Bond Payment is Non refundable on Any cancellation bookings for Any bus Hiring.
Any Cancellation with in 24 hours to trip will be charged 50% Off the Payment from the Card or PayPal Account.

22. How do I make a booking?

You can either use our online booking system located on our website, once it is submitted online, management at Shuttle Charters Sydney will contact you as soon as possible, via email or phone to attain further details.
